Manchester United endured a challenging time within the seventies following the retirement of Matt Busby as manager. They suffered relegation to the next Division in 1974, but achieved instantaneous advertising and went on to earn the FA Cup in 1977. The eighties brought more achievements for the club, who received the FA Cup in 1983 and yet again
